NTLDR is missing

Yesterday my friend called me and said that his computer doesn't run. The problem masage is only show "NTLDR is missing".
After googling, here is the solver (for XP):
  1. Boot from your Windows XP CD
  2. Enter setup and press "R"
  3. When asked which system you want to login, press the number
  4. Enter password administrator
  5. After that, you should be in a command prompt mode
  6. Type this; assume your CD ROM is drive "e:"
copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
  1. Type "exit" then enter
  2. Reboot the computer as usual (eject your CD first)
Good Luck!
